The first step we take is to carefully remove all of your shelves, sidebars and your door glass – these are then transferred to our van, where they are soaked in our cleaning tank. This tank heats up to a very high temperature and removes carbon deposits and grease – these can be hard to remove with more traditional methods. This soak ensures all of the nooks and crannies of your shelves and bars are reached, which, again, can be hard to replicate with a DIY clean.
Whilst these parts are soaking, we remove the door from your oven and scrap as much carbon off as we can – anything remaining on the door is scrubbed by hand with warm water to achieve a sparkling clean!
Once we’ve got your door looking shiny – we then spray your oven with cleaner and degreaser – once this is complete we turn the oven on and heat it to 80 degrees. This activates our solution and means we can wipe away carbon, food or grease deposits easily. A further good scrub and wash down with cold water, and your oven should be heading back to prime condition!
We then remove your fan cover and clean the fan and then also inspect the element – keeping these two parts of your oven clean will lengthen its life, so this is an important part of the cleaning.
We then check the soak tanks on the van and will remove any stubborn residue with wire wool if needed.
Once we’ve washed everything down with cool water we are ready to reassemble your oven – we safely re-install your fan cover, side brackets, door and shelves – leaving it all looking dazzling clean!
